Broodmares
Worth A Shot Farm prides it self on the quality of our broodmares. We believe in quality over quantity. We only foal out a couple of mares for ourselves to ensure that each and every foal gets the hands on treatment that they deserve and need at this stage. If you are interested in one of our future foals that are listed an in utero sale maybe arranged. Please contact us if you have any question.

"Pippy" as she is know around the barn is the ipedimay of what a Hunter should be. She is a Registered Thoroughbred that is 15.3 1/2HH. She was never raced and was purchased as a prospect to become my daughters Hunter/Jumper superstar. With beautiful conformation, excellent hooves(yes even though she's a TB) and the sweetest puppy dog personality she was destin for greatness. That was until she sustained an eye injury. It took close to a year to save her eye. We have worked extremely hard but it has all been worth it. Pippy was breed to Escapade for a spring 2009 foal. We are very excited about this cross and truly can't wait too see this outstanding foal. .

I just had to add this video taken of Pippy on Dec. 11,2008. She is 6 months in foal to Escapade now. My daughter wanted to ride her, and even though she hasn't been ridden consistanly in over two years she was great. She is always aimminng to please and truely takes care of her ridder no matter their riding skills!! One can only hope that she passes this on to her foal!!!

Kahlooa N Kreme is a 2005 Reg. 1/2 Welsh mare. She is a Silver buckskin mare who's disposition and personality is second to none. We have started her lightly under saddle and she is a dream to train. Always willing and a super fast learner, "LuLu" was Grand Champion at her 2nd show.
UPDATE: Kahlooa N Kreme has been leased out to Stacia and her lovely daughters from SeaFire Sporthorses. I know you will be more than trilled with your sport pony cross. Kahlooa will be crossed with the Silver Dapple stallion SHELL-CREST DUSTY GOLD. He is the only other Welsh stallion in the world, besides Kahlooa's Sire Rosmels Creme De Mint to have been tested postive for the Silver gene.
